GLOSSARY - OFFLINE EYES

The term 'Offline eyes' refers to the phenomenon when people become accustomed to the colour of the offline edit and are reluctant to see the footage differently.

Even if the preview colour space is incorrect, such as LogC, once individuals become accustomed to it, their visual system tends to perceive it as 'natural.'

The best way to avoid “offline eyes” is by getting a look across the footage early in the process.
