D.I.T.

The DIT or ‘dit’ for short, is an on set role. Their job is to ensure the digital neg is protected advising the DOP on exposure and colour management. They are also in charge of making sure reference monitors are correct. They sometimes perform colour adjustments and create LUTs but there is a lot more to their role than just colour. On big-scale productions, there will be a DIT and a dailies colourist.
