We’re super excited to share our recent work on Season 3 of THE NEWSREADER.

Moodlab’s head of colour CJ Dobson supervised a cloud based dailies workflow in collaboration with City Post.

CJ trained dailies colourist, Marcus Mason on the series showLUT as well as where to place adjustments on the node tree. DOP Earle Dresner ACS and the team were then able make requests for adjustments.

Thanks to the flexibility of the cloud workflow, CJ could jump in whenever more complex sequences needed attention.

When the team got to the finishing stage at Moodlab, all of these adjustments carried through so we could focus more of our time on the finishing touches.

It really is the end of an era. It’s been a joy working with such wonderful people on a truly exceptional show.
